Before allowing another to speak into your life, ask yourself, “What credibility do they have to do so?”

What are their credentials (which is not based upon an obtained degree imo)?

I come to you not as a guru and not as a self-professed therapist— I come to you as a seeker. A once misguided or drifting soul who has made peace with my life path

I now hold the understanding that my life purpose/direction is not having one.

I’m humbled because you and I both walk the same and we are both bound by gravity amongst other universal forces. We are different, however, because I have come to accept and acknowledge that I was prescribed a life path no others have traversed on.

I was once called a “history maker” at a youth spiritual conference [definitely a forced sitch] by one of the instructing leaders— and at the time, it sounded dumb as fuck (I still combat this sentiment).

You ever have someone try to put you down in your self-love expressions?

It goes somewhere along the lines of, “You’re so full of yourself!” Like it’s a bad thing. Have they ever taken a moment to think about what the fuck that even means?

I now love to respond with,

“As opposed to who? Who else am I supposed to be full of? Beyoncé? I am proud and only wish to be full and filled with myself.”
